Dear Club Officers,
District 57 has its own Meetup account, and all clubs are welcome to join for FREE to boost their visibility! See the D57 Incentive Tracker for details on earning district bucks now!
Even if your club is already part of the District 57 Meetup account, read on to learn about important upcoming changes.
Clubs that are not currently in the District 57 Meetup
Head over to d57tm.org/meetup to learn more about the District 57 Meetup account, and then sign up your club to join! It’s free to join, and training will be provided to help you get started if you’re unfamiliar with Meetup.
After you sign up, the District 57 Meetup team will contact your club’s Meetup manager to create an event page for your club in the “D57 Toastmasters – Clubs Meetup Group” to publish recurring club meeting details. You can personalize the event page to represent your unique club and attract guests.
Clubs that are currently in the District 57 Meetup
The current District 57 Meetup account is made up of 17 different area-based groups, and your club is posting events within one of those groups. These 17 area-based groups will be consolidated into a single primary group for the entire district, and the old area-based groups will be deleted.
Your current recurring Meetup event page will be moved to the new primary group “D57 Toastmasters – Clubs Meetup Group” and your group’s members and leadership team will be emailed to join the new group. The organizers will be reassigned their roles to manage their new club event page. Your old group will be deleted after a successful transition.
We look forward to seeing all District 57 clubs take advantage of this free promotional opportunity!
Please contact us at meetup@d57tm.org with any questions or concerns.
Cheers,
The District 57 Meetup Team
