Member Awards and Recognition

Triple Crown Award

139 Members earned the Triple Crown Award last year (2018-2019)! Learn what the Triple Crown Award is below and what’s different this year.

The Triple Crown Award is awarded to any District 57 Toastmaster member who earns three or more educational and leadership awards between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2024. Two (2) of those awards must be a Pathways award (any Path, any level).

Award recipients will be recognized at District events such as the monthly District Executive Committee Meeting, Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI), our Annual Conference and our Awards & Installation Dinner. If you are not present at any of these events to be recognized, your award will be distributed to you by an Area Director when they visit your club.

Note that the deadline to earn your Triple Crown Award and be recognized at the District 57 Annual Conference is two weeks before the Conference.

Why should I complete the OATM Awards?

Earning your OATM award is a fun and rewarding experience that will push you outside your comfort zone. The OATM journey requires planning and diligence to satisfy the five award categories but attainment of the OATM award is well worth the effort. Past award recipients describe their experiences in the one-minute video clips below.

Other Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:  What if I don’t have everything done by the Spring Conference?
A:  You will still receive recognition if you submit the award by June 30, 2024; however, you will not receive our token of appreciation until the next District event or at your home club.
