Member Awards and Recognition

Triple Crown Award

139 Members earned the Triple Crown Award last year (2018-2019)! Learn what the Triple Crown Award is below and what’s different this year.

The Triple Crown Award is awarded to any District 57 Toastmaster member who earns three or more educational and leadership awards between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Two (2) of those awards must be a Pathways award (any Path, any level). See if you’ve earned your award here.

Award recipients will be recognized at District events such as the monthly District Executive Committee Meeting, Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI), our Annual Conference and our Awards & Installation Dinner. If you are not present at any of these events to be recognized, your award will be distributed to you by an Area Director when they visit your club.

Note that the deadline to earn your Triple Crown Award and be recognized at the District 57 Annual Conference is two weeks before the Conference.

What is it?

OATM is an award available to ALL members that go above and beyond; pushing themselves to go farther and be more active in the Toastmasters organization. You will be recognized at the District 57 Spring Conference in April 2020.

How does it work?

Complete at least two different items in each category and get your VP of Education from your home club to sign off on your worksheet. Cut off for recognition at the Spring 2020 conference is Midnight of April 15, 2020 Pacific Time.

When will awards be presented?

Awards will be presented at the Spring Conference. You do not need to be present to be recognized, and we will make sure you receive our token of appreciation (plaque and pin) at another district event or at your club.

What are the dates?

The official begin date was July 1, 2019, and you can check off any of the items you have accomplished since then.  The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2020.

How do I submit my award?

You can scan in and email your submission to William Wilson, Awards and Recognition Chair at awards@d57tm.org.

Note: Please keep a copy for your records!

Why should I complete the OATM Awards?

Earning your OATM award is a fun and rewarding experience that will push you outside your comfort zone. The OATM journey requires planning and diligence to satisfy the five award categories but attainment of the OATM award is well worth the effort. Past award recipients describe their experiences in the one-minute video clips below.
