Mentor Wanted
If you live near Alameda and have time from 3-4pm on Tuesdays for an in person meeting, I have a coveted Mentoring spot with your name on it for a brand new club, Clotmasters!
The Crowdsourcing Survey Drive Continues…
Week 4’s survey: https://tinyurl.com/SpecialtyWeek4
There’s been a lot of movement in this week’s survey:
– Trident Toastmasters has taken on the role of the Talk Two Toastmasters idea, for people who do not have English as a first language. They’re looking for a few members to save their club before March 31st.
– Muscle Mass-ters has a sponsor in Top of the Hill Toastmasters, so watch for a special event featuring the idea on a Wednesday in March.
– Not@Home Improv(ment) has enough people to meet, and it’s just a matter of figuring out when.
– Zoomies, Travelmasters, and Board Gamers also need some leadership to take charge of the people who are interested.
– Brand new this week: Clubs for corporate climbers, social learners, and a rewritten idea for Trades folk who want to find like minds and willing hands.
– And in the middle of the pack are the Ink and Papyrus (books and writing), Outside Voices (vote with your feet), and Professional Up and Comers (Next Generation) ideas.
– Finally, Golden Rules (Grandparents) and Educators hung on for another week, but they’re not going anywhere fast. Know some folks who’d like to join? Let them know where the survey is!
In other news:
– Congratulations to Downtown Toastmasters for being the first club to 100% renewals for the April renewal period.
– There’s still plenty of award money left over for clubs who renew 8 members and 20 members but missed the early renewal deadline. All renewals should be in by March 31st….
– If you’d like to be a coach or mentor, email jeffrey [at] d57tm . org. We can still use more of them for the clubs we’ve yet to charter.
