No, not the Super Bowl, the chase for Specialty Club Interest. We didn’t get a lot of survey entries for Week 1, but it was enough to get some interest. Here’s the quick highlights:
The Top Three – Votes for these will get routed to the Kickoff committee.
– Muscle Mass-Ters muscled their way to the top this week in pure votes; no Kickoff scheduled just yet..
– District Director Sally launched a planning meeting for Time Travelers this past week and got more people in the virtual room.
– Division F Director Shalani and Club Coach Chair Sankar have evolved the Artificial Intelligence into the Tech Talk AI Club and will be meeting starting in February.
Also In The Running
– Board Gamers (just what it says on the box), Travelmasters, and Zoomies (virtual space for rent)
New This Week – Because we have more ideas in the works (remember the Other category).
– Cat Catch All – For fans of four legged feline friends, this one strayed in this week.
– The Golden Rules – For grandparents. We’re going to lean into the demographic.
– The Next Generation – Just graduated from college? We’ve got a club for you.
– Not@Home Improv(ment) – A pure improv club. No preparation needed. Ever.
The Bottom(s Up) – No votes for these means they might not make it to Week 4.
– Bourbon and Cigars got zero votes in Week 1 and is at whisk(ey) of getting escorted out if their bar isn’t raised.
– Educator Toastmasters (teachers), and Ink and Papyrus (writing and storytelling) both got one vote, so let’s show some support for the folks that make us smarter and more creative this week!
This week’s survey can be found here:
(I’ve also trimmed out most of the extra questions in the hope that more people will answer the survey.)
