Finishing Strong: PR, Growth, and Support for Your Club

With only three and a half months left in the Toastmasters year, we’re focused on a strong finish! February and March are all about Talk Up Toastmasters, and we encourage clubs to leverage short-form video content to attract new members. Sharing quick, engaging videos showcasing your club’s meetings, success stories, and benefits can help bring in new faces and strengthen your community.

To support club growth, the Talk Up Toastmasters campaign deadline has been extended to the end of the month, giving clubs extra time to recruit and take advantage of this membership-building opportunity.

A key part of success is knowing who to reach out to for support. As PRM, I often hear from club officers unsure of where to direct their questions. While leadership roles change yearly, we’ve worked hard to keep you informed about who’s who in PR, but if you’re ever uncertain, you can always reach out to me. I’ll make sure you’re connected with the right person who will eagerly and competently assist you.

Additionally, Karen shared updates at DECM (see recording) on club event submissions for the district website, clubs should submit event details promptly to ensure proper promotion and visibility.

Looking ahead, PR will take a strong role in promoting the District Conference on May 17. We’re working on a strategic campaign to drive event awareness, highlight speakers, and boost engagement to make this conference a success.
