2025-2026 Incentives List Updates – Now With More Club Excellence
The Trio started from the ground floor to rework the Incentives list completely.
The most notable changes are as follows:
- Less work for the club officers when they submit awards. Most of the scan and score work will be done by Jeff, because the criteria are readable from the Dashboard.
- Focus on gaining members anytime instead of only getting credit during Open Houses.
- Emphasis on going above and beyond in Distinguished Club Program categories. We want to embrace the District Mission for achieving excellence, as opposed to just following a checklist.
If you’ve never used the Incentives Tracker before, or your club doesn’t yet have a Concur account, please let us know and we can provide training on both.

Before you worry, I ran the numbers using the end of year lists, and most clubs would actually get more money under the new system than they did under the previous year’s – mostly because it required running lots of qualifying Open Houses, renewing early, and doing a Moments of Truth by the end of the year.
The new system is more straightforward, with each new category in the DCP list +1 being the general rule:
Item |
Award |
Goals refer to Distinguished Club Program |
5 Level 1s |
$20 |
Goal #1 +1 |
3 Level 2s |
$20 |
Goal #2 and 1 in Goal #3 by December 31, 2025 |
6 Level 2s |
$20 |
Essentially 3 more level 2s, or Goal #3 showing 4 or higher by April 30, 2026 |
3 Level 3s |
$30 |
Goal #4 with a score of 3 or higher |
2 Level 4, 5, or DTMs |
$20 |
Show Goals #5 and #6 showing as completed by April 1, 2026 |
4 Level 4, 5, or DTMs |
$20 |
Goal #6 should show at least 3 by April 30, 2026 |
5 New Members |
$50 |
Goal #7 +1 in Goal #8 |
10 New Members |
$50 |
Goal #8 at least 6 or higher |
7 out of 7 Officers Trained, One/Both Times |
$50/$100 |
This one is the hardest to achieve, which is why it’s the highest value. |
+3 Net Growth |
$30 |
Separate from Goals #7 and 8, because you can recruit a lot of members, but if they don’t stay, you haven’t grown your club. |
But what about the Open House Award?
As Club Growth Director, Dennis Dawson has a different philosophy than I did last year; he feels that any meeting, as long as it’s an excellent one, can encourage guests to become members. So that’s why the multifaceted lots-of-checklist items required for the Open House Incentive award went away. The incentive this year is for a net growth of members, which is the goal of holding Open House meetings in the first place. Open Houses are still an excellent way to find new members.
Are there other awards we can get that aren’t related to the DCP? Where did the Club Success Plan incentive go?
- Since the Club Success Plan is now required, remember to file your club’s before September 30th – you can’t be a Distinguished Club without it.
- However, there is still the incentive award for getting 5 DCP points, a Moments of Truth completed, and the Club Success Plan before December 31st, 2025.
- Early Bird Renewal – If you get your club to “good standing” (at least 8 members renewed) by August 15, 2025 (Fall) and February 14, 2026 (Spring) you will receive $50 each time.
- We may also add some incentives from the Public Relations Team which are related to the various World Headquarters marketing promotions during the year.
