District Executive Committee Meeting
The District Executive Council Meeting (DECM) is a vital monthly gathering where District Officers and members of District committees come together to discuss and strategize around club, area, division, and district goals. This meeting serves as a platform not only for addressing various district business matters but also for providing valuable leadership training that equips members with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective roles. The discussions and decisions made during these meetings are crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and success of the district as a whole.
At these meetings, we make decisions affecting the whole District and every single club within it. If you are considering presenting at DECM, please use our District 57 Toastmasters PowerPoint template. We will consider and vote on items such as:
- Approving the District Success Plan
- Approving budgets
- Electing district officers
- Changing district procedures and bylaws
- Re-aligning clubs
