CALL FOR CANDIDATES FOR ELECTED DISTRICT OFFICES 

(on behalf of  Gregory Scott, DTM, PID, District 205 District Leadership Committee (DLC) Chair and Zack Sousa, DTM, PDD,  District 206 Leadership Committee (DLC) Chair )

Toastmasters, where leaders are made.  Leaders are made in the roles that keep our community thriving.  As we look toward the next program year, the District Leadership Committee is searching for dedicated members to step into District Leadership roles.

THE NEW DISTRICTS 205 and 206 BEGIN WITH YOU

DISTRICTS 205 AND  206 ARE CALLING FOR FOUNDING LEADERS. 

  • The north and west parts of District 57 will merge with District 4 to form the new District 205. 
  • The eastern part of District 57 and Central Valley section of District 33 will merge with District 39 to form the new District 206.

We are seeking passionate, visionary members ready to step into district leadership.

This is your opportunity to:

  1. Influence the direction of an entirely new district
  2. Grow as a leader on a larger platform 
  3. Expand your Toastmasters network 
  4. Build skills you can use professionally and personally
  5. Be remembered as a founding officer in District 205/D206 history

This is an open call for the following elected positions:

  • District Director 
  • Program Quality Director 
  • Club Growth Director 
  • Division Directors 

Note that your application will be considered for the district where your home club will be in 205 and 206.  If you belong to multiple clubs and your clubs are in both new districts, you can apply for an elected position in either D205 or D206 but not both.

  • District Leaders Biographical Information (450H)
  • District Leader Agreement and Release Statement (450D)

In addition to the other listed requirements in the various forms:

  • To be elected to a position in District 205 you must be a member of a club that will be part of the new District 205
    • Any club(s) in Division A, C, or D in the current District 57 or
    • Any club(s) in the current District 4
  • To be elected to a position in District 206 you must be a member of a club that will be part of District 206:
    • Any club(s) in the current District 39
    • Any club(s) in Division B, Division E or Area C8 in the current District 57
    • Any club(s) in Division F in the current District 33

Members serving for the 2025–2026 program year as fully remote leaders are only eligible to run for the positions of Program Quality Director or Club Growth Director election in the 2026–2027 program year*.
