Oakland Uptown Toastmasters is a diverse club with members from inside and outside the state of California. We are a welcoming and inclusive club that wants everyone to feel at home. Members are encouraged to give speeches at their own pace, which helps people feel more comfortable. As a club, we help and encourage each other to become better speakers and leaders. Our club meets every Tuesday at noon via Zoom.

Guests are always welcome and can attend as many times as they’d like! At the beginning of the meeting, the Toastmaster will invite you to briefly introduce yourself and tell us why you stopped by. You’re invited to take part in our Table Topics portion of the meeting, where we practice impromptu speaking. At the end of the meeting, the Toastmaster will ask you to share any feedback about the meeting. We would love to know if you plan to join us again.
