Notice: Saturday May 14 deadline for floor candidates and new business

Any member planning to run as a floor candidate at the business meeting on May 21 needs to notify the District Director, George Marshall, by Sunday, May 15.

If any member has new business that they would like they district council to consider in the May 21 business meeting, they need to notify the District Director, George Marshall, by Sunday, May 15.

The Annual Business meeting is an important part of the operation of District 57 and all districts. We elect next year’s officers, review and vote on the realignment plan, as well as reviewing events and records from the last year.

Voting: the governing body of every district is the District Council, consisting of the club Presidents, VPs of Education, and the District Executive Committee (Area Directors, Division Directors and senior district officers). All voting members MUST register by Thursday, May 19 to be able to vote – no exceptions.

Note: no proxies are allowed at online district business meetings.  Both the President and VPE should register — please!   Not sure if you can make it?  No problem, register now for the (free) Business meeting, at no cost and no penalty if you can’t attend.
