Sign up for Club Officer Training on Saturday July 13th at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill or Saturday July 27th in Santa Rosa.
Future Club Officers and Leaders,
Experience Excellence at the upcoming Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI). Tailored specifically for Club Officer Training, you’ll develop the the skills, knowledge and resources needed to deliver a fantastic guest and member experience, whether you’re in a Corporate, School or Community Club.
We’ll start the day off with a hearty breakfast from 8 to 8:45am to fuel your learning, followed by our opening keynote. After getting our community together, we’ll break out into our 7 different club officer roles to teach the in’s and out’s. After becoming an expert, we’ll gather in 3 different community groups – a session for Corporate Club Officers, School Club Officers and Community Club Officers where you’ll learn the nuances of your role based on the club you are in. Excited yet? Sign up above! A complete agenda will be provided in the coming weeks.
When club officers are well-trained to perform their duties, club members are better served. This makes the member experience more positive, which leads to a quality club experience and increased member retention. Without properly trained leaders at every level, districts and clubs cannot meet members’ needs or introduce the benefits of Toastmasters to others.
Can’t make it?
Try! Last year’s TLI sold out with 390 attendees and is an incredibly valuable opportunity to connect with our broader Toastmasters community. You’ll put faces to names, develop valuable friendships and learn tips and tricks from veterans that will serve you throughout your Club Officer term. Sure you can’t make it? Additional training sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.
I look forward to seeing you all there,
Program Quality Director and District Director-Elect
