District 57 2024-2025 District Leaders!
Come and see our re-envisioned District Executive Committee Meeting (DECM), now featuring a monthly slot for a Keynote Speaker and a custom training session designed specifically for our current Area Directors and will definitely be of help to all in the room and on-line. This month, none other than Past International President, Michael Notaro, DTM, PIP, will present our keynote, “Toastmasters and the Olympic Spirit”! But wait, there’s more! Every in-person attendee will receive a special gift! Even more you say? Ashley Harkness will be sharing his secrets on “How to Start a New Club in Just 1 Hour” followed by special work sessions for all.
We’d love to see all of you in person, but if you can’t make it, we have a plan B – this meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format to accommodate our out-of-town and more distant members, just as we did pre-pandemic. DECM is held on the second Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM for a meet and greet, with meetings kicking off at 9 AM and wrapping up by noon, California time. Our in-person location is the Lafayette Library, 3491 Mount Diablo Blvd, Lafayette, CA 94549. Free parking is available underneath the building.
Still need a little extra incentive? How about snacks and the unbeatable camaraderie of fellow Toastmasters! We’re especially encouraging Club Presidents, VPEs, and Secretaries, in addition to the usual suspects…You-Area Directors, Division Directors, our Trio and other District Leaders working diligently, like all of you to help our members grow.
