Vice President of Pathways (VPP)
A Pathways Champion at Every Club. All of our members are active in Pathways. We don’t want anyone left behind. Our goal is to have 100% of our members comfortable using Pathways.
Many of you have been asking for training and we heard you. To help us reach this ambitious goal, we have retained last year’s new Club Officer Role: the Vice President of Pathways (VPP). That’s right, every club should have their very own VPP to help coach and mentor their members to be successful in Pathways.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard new and legacy club members
- Work with the VPE to track member progress
- Troubleshoot challenges
- Coach, guide and encourage members to complete their first level
- Training new VPP for next year
For more information about the VPP role, click to check out our FAQs.

Club President, VP Education and Secretaries – your duties
For most clubs, the vice president education (VPE) will assume the role of Base Camp manager. The Base Camp manager helps facilitate your progress by verifying your education, approving requests and more. In the event that a VPE isn’t able to perform these duties, or if a club does not have a VPE, the Base Camp manager responsibilities will be fulfilled by the club president or club secretary. The central responsibilities of the Base Camp manager include:
- Approving speeches outside the club
- Verifying level completion
- Tracking member progress
- Verifying project completion for members using printed materials
For a how-to document for the tasks a base camp manager does see below:
